Facts and Policies

Here are some of my most frequently asked questions, if you have an inquiry that isn't included here please do not hesitate to reach out to me!

Q: How can I purchase your jewelry?

A: All my pieces are made by hand -- slowly, intentionally, and with sustainability in mind. I feature a release of new pieces on this website about every 2-3 weeks at a chosen date and time. You can find all currently available jewelry on the shop page. Most items are one-of-a-kind and if they appear as "sold" on the shop page that means they're no longer available. The best way to stay posted with collection release updates is through Facebook Angelic Whimsey Handcrafted or through Instagram @angelicwhimsey

Q: What are the collection releases like and how can I get the piece I want?

A: Because I am a one-woman-show here and I love creating intricate time-consuming pieces, the demand for each piece is much higher than what I can supply! Collection releases happen here on my website (follow along on Instagram release dates and time). Pieces tend to sell out very quickly, so I recommend being online at the time of the release and refreshing until the listings go live. Purchase the piece you want and if there is a second you're eyeing, sometimes it's best to check out each one individually since items are not "safe" in your cart (meaning, someone else can purchase them until you've successfully checked out.)

Q: Do you offer customs or early claims?

A: Customs are a huge amount of additional time and effort, so I am not currently accepting custom orders, except for buttons. I also do not offer early claims, I want to keep things as fair as possible for people which I found to be a set date and time collection release. I do take into consideration "wish lists". If there is something you wish to have and have not been able to purchase through the shows, I keep notes. If and when I revisit that design, you will be contacted at that time to see if you still wish to purchase. That way I can still let me creativity flow and you can chose when designs are available.

Q. Where do you ship? How long until my package arrives?

A. I can ship everywhere! Shipping costs vary based on the destination, and I ship via first-class or priority mail with tracking. I send out all ready-to-ship items within 3-5 days from when the order is placed, and any made-to-order or custom pieces abide by the timeline given or stated in the specific listing (generally 5 weeks for processing.) I will send you an email with tracking information as soon as the package ships. All pieces are shipped with USPS and should arrive within 1-5 business days (3-6 weeks internationally, dependent on the destination) of being dropped at the post office. I generally have no issues with USPS -- and it's so important to support them! - but please understand that there occasionally are delays that I, unfortunately, have no control over.

Q. How can I find my ring size?

A. Since handmade jewelry is an investment and often rings can't be resized, it is best to have your ring size measured by a jeweler -- that way you can ensure a proper fit! You can also bring along a ring you know fits well and have them measure it. If you are unable to make it to a jeweler, this website is very helpful -- though please be aware it may not give as accurate of results as a professional! https://findmyringsize.com/

Q. Can a ring be resized?

A. Most rings CANNOT be resized, however, most of my designs are offered as adjustable and can be set to the buyer's preferred size. You can specifiy your size upon checkout. If you have a question about a specific ring, please feel free to reach out.

Q. How do I care for my jewelry?

A. Your one-of-a-kind piece was built to last through adventures, but of course, natural stones can be delicate and the better you care for it the longer it will last! To prolong the life of your artwork, I recommend removing it when swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing, cliff jumping or other activities that submerges you beneath that water for long periods or potentially have you coming in contact with rocks. Silver will tarnish over time but can be easily removed with a soft, clean, dry microfiber cloth (I recommend the "Sunshine Cloth") to restore its shine gently. Avoid using harsh chemicals or jewelry cleaner as it can damage the surface of the natural stones or remove the patina on your piece.

Q. What is your return/exchange policy?

A. I do not  accept returns:

Please feel free to contact me melanielegrand@me.com within one day of receiving your shipment if you are not completely satisfied with your jewelry, or if you have any questions or issues! I pour love & soul into every piece and I want you to be just as in love with it -- I am happy to work with you to find the best solution for any issue. I understand that life is complicated and I'll do everything I can to accommodate.
